It suggests that there are two sets of factors influencing motivation and job satisfaction: hygiene factors and motivators. Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory: Frederick Herzberg proposed this theory, also known as the Motivation-Hygiene Theory or the Dual Factor Theory.According to this theory, individuals strive to fulfill lower-level needs before progressing to higher-level needs. The needs are arranged in a pyramid, with basic physiological needs (such as food, water, and shelter) at the bottom, followed by safety, love and belongingness, esteem, and self-actualization needs at the top. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs: Proposed by Abraham Maslow, this theory suggests that people are motivated by a hierarchy of needs. They brought me so much joy, but it was time to move on. In sixth grade, I said my final goodbyes to my 11 favorite buddies. Once I hit middle school, the number of Webkinz among my group of friends quickly deteriorated. Allowing your account to expire was a very hard decision. Webkinz had so much more to offer when it came to games, characters, and things to do in general. Sure, you could have accounts for both, but one always came out on top. You were either a Club Penguin or Webkinz child. Club Penguin didn't even compare to your Webkinz life. No one ever knew what that unlucky substance was from the Wheel of WOW. It was only once a day and prizes varied, but the opportunity to receive 500 KinzCash or a free item of furniture was worth it. You knew that spinning the Wheel of WOW and playing Wishing Well 2 were the best ways to earn free items and cash. At the age of 9, hearing that my friend entered a code and got rewarded a Webkinz dog was #goals. With the code you would be rewarded a free item of some sort, like a virtual hat for your pet, occasionally, though, there was a free pet code. The best thing about the cards was that each came with a code. Yes, the trading cards could be used in the Trading Card Challenge Game, but no one really played that. The only reason you wanted Webkinz Trading Cards was for the slight chance you would get a free Webkinz. A ballerina-themed room for your dance-loving cat? Yep! The options were endless. A space-themed room for your astronomy-loving monkey? Done. The rooms in Webkinz were linked together and could have any theme imaginable. Adding a new room was the highlight of your day. That's why you were so good at playing Bananza, Cash Cow, Picnic, Tile Towers (my personal favorite,) Webkinz Mini Golf, and Zingoz Pie Throw. KinzCash was very important in order to have the best house, clothes, and food for your pets. You mastered all of the Webkinz Arcade games.
